At Vin Divino, our mission is to find those few winemakers who are not interested in taking the easy route. Whether we are in Italy, Austria, Chile, France, or the U.S., we seek only those special artisans for whom commercial and even critical success is not enough. These vintners insist on bottling highly personal and strikingly original wines, which often depart from current fashion and even local traditions.
It is not enough to say what we are trying to avoid in our selection process– wines that are dull, diluted, international, over-stuffed, alcoholic, over-oaked, unbalanced, unreasonably manipulated, or simply boring– because even the most sound and pleasurable wines often lack the crucial intangible character that our wines must contain. You will find that Vin Divino wines are more than hedonistic; they tease, provoke, challenge, mystify and finally, captivate the drinker.
