Caldora Colle dei Venti IGT Pecorino 2006 |
|
Pecorino (named after the grape cluster’s resemblance to a sheep’s head - not the cheese) is one of the best known regional whites; however, it rarely makes it to the export market because of naturally low yields. It starts off highly aromatic and palate is a complex blend of concentrated citrus fruit, shaded by a subtle savory nuttiness, and dancing marzipan on the finish. Serve with seafood, pasta with light sauces and variety of poultry dishes. |
