Cusumano Sicilia IGT Inzolia 2007
This indigenous white of Sicily may be spelled with a "z" or an "s." Light and floral on the nose with wildflower and some say faint butter cookie followed by ripe tropical fruit, especially mature pineapple. It finishes with a slight creaminess typical to Cusumano's single varietal selections. Think of Inzolia somewhere between Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, but with an easy drinking personality all its own.

Tech Notes
Cold maceration with skins for 12 hours at 8-12 degrees Celsius. Soft second pressing. Secondary fermentation in stainless steel at 18-20 degrees Celsius. Lees contact 4 months. Fining in the bottle.
