Chardonnay has taken well to the island climate and produces a yellow-gold colored wine which expresses the power of the Sicilian sun with a floral and citrus nose, and tropical fruit on the palate. This offering has been refined in small oak casks to add a layer of structure and impart a lingering finish. The name Jalé, pronounced yah-Lay, is a local term that refers to the vineyard's chalky white soil. |
