Domäne Wachau Smaragd "Kellerberg" Gruner Veltliner 2005 |
|
The steep house mountain “Kellerberg” of the Freie Weingärtner Wachau is a hill that rises directly behind the baroque cellar castle pictured on the label. The wine has a strong straw yellow color with medium golden tinges. On the nose, open and inviting with intense and lively aromas of hay, yellow apple, tropical fruits and some spiciness. On the palate full-bodied with good and round structure. A wine with finesse and a long finish. Kellerberg is traditionally a powerful wines, due to the warm panonnian micro-climate and fine minerality. |
